Patrick Markham
|
Patrick's first taste for
working backstage began at school with productions of Oliver! and
The Sound of Music. It
was 1991 that saw the start of an obsession with many
shows at the Broadbent and an equal number with The
Phoenix Players. Patrick has been known to venture on
stage but prefers to sit at the back surrounded by buttons. Since joining LRP in 1991, and becoming a committee member from 1992~96 and 2000~2010 and 2011~2014, Patrick has lit many shows over the years despite spending 1993~95 in Hull while studying for his BA in Information Systems. As well as being responsible for all things technical, Patrick took on the role of Little Theatre Guild Representative when LRP first became a member of the Guild in 1994. Although Patrick's passion is for lighting and sound, he also has a reputation for stage pyrotechnics and for this reason, counts Aladdin as one of his favourite shows and the pantomime season as his favourite time of year! This reputation has also led him off the stage and into the field of larger firework displays. Patrick designs, maintains and owns this website where he is pleased to have the opportunity to demonstrate his love for all things Broadbent. He welcomes your feedback... email him at patrick@broadbent.org and let him know you've been here. Patrick is extremely proud to have been awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Lindsey Rural Players in recognition of his production of this website. Patrick's other websites include PatrickMarkham.com detailing Patrick's service offering PC Support to your home and pat-host.net offering website design and hosting solutions. |
