Putting on the Screws by Hugh
Dower |
Putting on the Screws is a gentle comedy penned by the current Chairman who is also an active member of the Trinity Arts Centre Writers' Group, from whence came the idea to stage new plays by local authors as part of the Lincolnshire Literature Festival. One of a quartet of works either currently in production or being prepared for production, Putting on the Screws explores the interplay between three very different characters; Ben, a somewhat cynical and disillusioned house-husband, his ex-wife, Meryl, a hard-headed professional woman and Linda, a happy-go-lucky adventuress. |
