Member Profile: Sharon Mace |
Sharon inherited her love of
entertaining at an early age from her theatrical and circus performing
family, having been regaled by stories from her aunt and uncle who had
travelled the world with both Billy Smart's and Gerry Cottle's circus as
'Samson - The World's Strongest Man and Delilah. Sharon made her acting debut for the Belgrade Youth Theatre, directed by Rob Bettinson (later co-writer of the musical 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story'). After a long break from performing, she returned to the Coventry stage in her late 30's playing diverse roles such as 'Mom' in The Graduate, 'Brenda' in The Witches of Eastwick and 'Audrey' in Blue Remembered Hills, before relocating to Lincolnshire in 2011. |
